Better arrange options for each offer (possibly centralize)

Since we are 99% active in the B2B sector, we would like to be able to provide offers without showing VAT in the future as well. VAT visually increases the price.
After preliminary consultation with Simone, a viable way could be to add a checkmark “Hide VAT lines” to the selection options under the Offer entry mask. In this way, it is possible to decide for each offer whether it should go out with or without VAT lines.
(Currently, this can only be set up once in the general office settings. Existing offers or templates are not adjusted backwards if the “Offers without VAT” check box is checked.)

Thanks Ilko, that's great. Because the view hasn't changed, I didn't get the idea that it could be different in expression. I will definitely change our templates accordingly and think Arne's suggestion to better bundle the options for designing offers is great. From my point of view: problem solved, thanks.

Arne Semmler: Yes, good idea: While you're there: It may also be a bit confusing that when the function is activated, the gross sum remains visible in editing mode; only in the PDF, the sales tax sum and the gross line are no longer displayed. It would be easier to see if the lines in question were crossed out, greyed out or parentheses in edit mode in order to identify the hidden lines.

Ilko Mauruschat Thanks Ilko for the support. Gillessen, Susanne and Simone Dallmeier-Büttner: The central setting only activates the option of gross and VAT per offer. -Hide lines. Clearly, the option is hard to find. I will therefore rename the ticket to “Better arrange options per offer (possibly centralize)”.

Hi Susanne, that's okay: You can select “Hide line” in the offer in the gross line via the “Burger” menu and then only net will be displayed in the PDF.
