Rounding differences when setting the above times for overtime accounting for payroll
Example: 4.67 when set to 0.50 h/4.40 when set to 0:30 h
Why are there both options and each employee can hire differently. With 160 employees, there should only be one form of employment, if possible, so that there are no different amounts. We currently have a difference in the payslip of just under €6.00 in the above figures when billing an employee. According to the last statement, we missed this for several employees. Please check. Thank you very much

Hello Arne Semmler, could you please give feedback as to whether you were able to understand the error? Thank you!
Arne Semmler
Harbig, Felix: Hi Felix, no, I haven't been able to understand him so far. As far as I know, we only calculate in decimals internally. I also don't understand what “Example: 4.67 when set to 0.50 h/4.40 when set to 0:30 h” should mean?
Arne Semmler
At which point exactly? That is not described, so maybe I can't understand it? Which presentation/page do you mean?

Hello Arne Semmler, in the My Settings menu under my name (top right), I can choose whether a dart position should be displayed in 0.5 h or 0:30 h when recording hours. Depending on which setting I choose, the result is different amounts of hours (overtime) --> 4.67 h or 4.40 h. That is unfavorable. The results should be the same and if this is not possible, the definition should be consistent with the office. merci

Harbig, Felix: Ah thanks. Were able to reproduce that! Background: We store the duration in decimal with 5 decimal places. An input of 4:40 h is converted to 4.46667 and saved. An input 4.67 as 4.67000. The topic cannot be finally resolved, as times cannot be converted exactly to decimals (only with periods).
Which setting would you choose if you could specify it centrally. What do bookers do better with: decimal (4.67h) or as time (4:40 h)?
