Placeholder %CUSTOMER_EMAIL% is not shown

For example, if I use the placeholder %CUSTOMER_EMAIL% in an invoice sheet, no email address is displayed. Neither the customer email nor the invoice email. -Address that I can create with the customer or in the contract. In my opinion, there is no working placeholder at all for the billing email address, because then %CUSTOMER_EMAIL% is also inserted.

Hi Benedikt, I think the problem is caused by the fact that the field you named is “copied” from customer data when creating the contract, but it appears to be two different fields in the database. This means that I do not yet know the billing address when creating the customer, then I have to store it in the contract later, as subsequent entry in the customer master data will no longer have any effect on the contract that has already been created. From my point of view, it would be more understandable if the customer email field and contract email field were the same. In addition, the placeholder name is confusing, because it should be called “CUSTOMER_INVOICE_EMAIL” so as not to confuse it with the customer email, which I can also create in the customer master data.

Hey Ilko, I've just tried it out. The following field must be filled for the placeholder and then it works:
