Central base mask per project for costs per kg, method, date
S
Silke Berlinghof
A massive relief for large projects would be an input mask as a central basic mask per project with all information on the costs of each required cost group. This should be used when calculating fees (fee calculator) (link). This also gives you an overview of the cost history at the same time. Especially in large GP projects with many components, the same figure (costs in euros) must be entered again and again for each fee calculation, e.g. for KG 300 or 400. This is a high source of error that could be significantly reduced, if not even eliminated, via a type of central mask. It would also be important that the cost groups are stored as a list so that they can be selected and that the method/ date etc. (wrench) is always visible when calculating the fee - there was already a cannypoint for this. For example, see below

Eligible costs as an “object”
J
Jan Holländer
In the course of a project, the eligible costs for individual partial services may change, or you may have to resort to certain eligible costs for offers.
From our point of view, it would be useful to maintain the eligible costs separately so that the offers or the HOAI calculators can relate to them. In this way, different subscription fees can also be easily managed.
This would also be a useful function in larger general planning projects, as the eligible costs are “linked” between the individual fee plates. Different fee zones are also sometimes agreed for different services - here, for example, at TGA - planning for the different plant groups. This would also make it easier to handle such contracts/offers.
The word “object” here means that the eligible costs are maintained as an object in the sense of the database. I'm not sure if that's the right term, but I hope it's understandable.
A similar topic was raised here once, but I still allow myself to make my own CANNY point.

I would like to add that it would be very useful in principle if the HOAI calculator was not exclusively included in the offer tool, but could be used completely independently.
We do HOAI model calculations quite often - including comparative ones -
which do not necessarily have to be related to offers or even projects

Perhaps an independent HOAI calculator would be the solution to all these needs. When preparing an offer or setting up a contract structure, you could then “collect” these invoices as needed

Separate cost estimates in the fee calculator
S
Schleimer, Niklas
We regularly have to create “help offers” for HOAI offers to bill local construction supervision, which is very cumbersome and confusing.
In the offer phase, we use special services in the fee calculator and here a percentage cost estimation approach to determine the fee for local construction supervision (see screenshot). However, the HOAI service phases are billed after cost calculation.
It would therefore be desirable if different cost estimates could be stored for special services.
In addition, separate cost estimates will also have to be possible for LPH at the latest with the amendment of the HOAI for the entire fee calculator, as it will then probably have to be settled up to LPH 5 after cost calculation and from LPH 6 after cost determination.

The individual cost estimates (cost specification, cost assumption, cost framework, cost estimate, cost estimate, cost estimate) should be saved separately and can be maintained in several HOAI calculators (across the offer or contract).

However, the billing method should not be copied as well, it should continue to be automatically set in accordance with HOAI for now, depending on the service profile (selected fee table) and can be changed manually.
