Calculate order amount in the Project Controlling tab
G
Gensel, Lorenz
The percentage result in the project controlling tab including planning is misleading as the order amount minus sub-contractor costs is the basis.
example:
Order amount = 500,000€
Subcontractor costs = €200,000
= Own order amount 300,000€
minus own expenses: €150,000
Result including planning: €150,000 = 50% current presentation in project
- It would be better to represent the result as a percentage of the order amount (150,000€/500,000€ = 30%)

At Projo, we had the wish for a long time that the result (including all controlling values) could also be controlled against the OPERATING BUDGET. The deployment budget is ultimately the target value that we want to achieve as an office in the project, as it achieves our profit target. If you “only” reach the order amount or the contract amount, or control it as a target value, then you have not achieved a profit margin.

Are these not two different values? Shouldn't you then have to be able to represent both values?

Haupt, Cornelia
Jan Holländer Yes, those are two different values. Ideally, both should be displayed.

Hi Lorenz, thanks for your service. I had already complained about that in a similar way. Because at present, the result is increasing in percentage terms alone if the share of personal contribution decreases. And that is misleading. Best regards, Frank Oheim
