Isolate Performance Status Change Permission
P
Patric Eckstein
The right to change the benefit status for each position is currently linked to the right to change the contract status. We would like to see this separated from each other, as our project managers must be able to change the performance status of each position quickly and independently without being allowed to touch the contract as a whole.
Thank you!

Manage “Update performance status” permission independently of “Create and change projects/contracts”

From our point of view, it would make sense that, in our case, project managers could change the status of work phases even though they have no right to change the contract structure as such, so that they can maintain performance levels, performance periods and performance status.

Patric Eckstein: Demand for understanding: Should such an authorization also make it possible to postpone the performance periods or ONLY maintain the performance level (i.e. data from-to) blocked (i.e. the performance would then also not be able to be postponed in deployment planning)?

Our project managers are currently maintaining the performance periods, and they should be able to continue doing so. But we also want to give them the opportunity to change the status of a benefit. This is currently only possible if you also grant the right to be able to change the contract as a whole - and the latter should be reserved for the team contract.

Arne Semmler I just see that we've already included the topic as a point here:

So far, this has not been possible, because contract-relevant characteristics also depend on the performance status, e.g. whether the contractually agreed fee for a specific service is included in the contract amount or not.

Arne Semmler, I understand the current context from projo, but it is precisely this differentiation that we would like to see. VG.
