Indication of missing hour entries directly in the time recording mask

Sometimes it can happen that MA does not record hours in a day - whether this was simply forgotten or someone was so busy and in a hurry or at an external appointment that no time was recorded.
In the “Walking as a duty” request, it was asked that no hours could be recorded on the current day before the end of working hours was entered the previous day.
We would like it if Projo would give users a message that there are no hourly entries the day before or on other days, not only within the notifications, but directly in the time recording window.
Maybe something like:
Missing time recording on the previous day/ Friday/ Date - please add. [The previous day might then have to be the last regular working day.]
+
Missing entries in the current month: [Date 1], [Date 2], [Date 3],...
It may not be that easy to implement this in a graphically elegant way, but Projo already has all the information.
My aim is for employees to receive information about any days that may have not been maintained as soon as they are recording their hours.
Maybe you can also give motivating/rewarding feedback if 100% is maintained.

Jan Holländer I like your gamification approach... I agree that although the notifications show the days of unbooked working hours, they do little to ensure that the rebooking actually happens. I can well imagine showing exactly this information in a targeted user dashboard in perspective.

Good morning Isabel, thanks for your message. In fact, from the perspective of many/most employees, projo is primarily the program in which they record their hours. Accordingly, the program is more of a minor issue for most of the time. Recording hours is often rather annoying from the perspective, all the more so when your own experience shows that you always work around the target hours anyway.
In my opinion, it is all the more important that this function works as smoothly as possible for these employees and that the essential information for it is immediately visible. The notifications are simply clicked away and are more likely to be perceived as a malfunction.
That is why the core of my concern is actually being able to see the information about missing bookings directly in the time recording window.
The idea of also offering positive feedback comes from the fact that I think that many also find the reference to missing entries on day xy more stressful because they are pointed out to an “inadequacy” a negligence - which some will certainly not find pleasant or annoying and overwhelming.
The positive feedback could be a small compensation for this. However, that is not the core aspect of my concern.
When you talk about a dashboard, I feel like it's a separate page. From my perspective, however, that would not be a solution to the problem described here.
However, if this allows you to transfer/develop the time recording page into a “recording and information page” from which I can also directly request my absences, recognize my current AZ account and also get an overview of my remaining vacation entitlement and my remaining absence quotas, then I can imagine that.
Perhaps a small addition:
If someone has requested an absence that is now in the past but has not yet been approved, this must not be listed as a missing entry, as the employee has already done everything to ensure that there is no gap in the time recording.
VG! Jan
