It would be nice if there was a way to connect project names with the project number, especially for the overview in time recording and in the project list.

Status quo:

If you only enter a project number and do not add a manual label, only the project number is displayed in the time recording (colored buttons) and project list.

This can be overwritten by a manual label. However, the title on the project overview page is then doubled with the project name, which is simply attached to the manual label. (The same applies to time recording for projects that you are not logged in to, i.e. that you search for “all projects”)

(We use specific abbreviations as project names. This problem cannot be solved using the “Abbreviation by number (required)” function, as you still have to set a project name. The duplication on the project overview page therefore remains.)
