All BT-xxx fields relevant in everyday life should now be implemented in projo. If you have any problems submitting an x-invoice generated from projo, feel free to let us know at support@projo.berlin!

Johannes Pfau Could you also try out XRechnung - you are based in BW and should already have several working groups that accept XInvoices? I've unlocked the feature for you!

Arne Semmler: Hi Arne, I'll do it! However, feedback can take a while, the offices are not as agile...

We are now testing XRechnung with selected customers. If you want to take a look at it now, you can contact Support and then get the feature activated.
Please note that Xinvoices must be activated per contract, there is then under “Overview” -> “Billing” the new checkbox “Generate XInvoice” with four XInvoice-specific fields and a help text. This is:
“For a valid XInvoice, the following fields must be completed:
- All four fields mentioned here (BT-10, BT-13, BT-18, BT-29)
- Your company details under “Settings” -> “Licenses” -> “Billing Information”
- Customer data such as official name, VAT number, full address, contact person (name, telephone, e-mail)”

Building on the experience reports/considerations at UserGroup 11/2021, we will intensify our exchange with those who have already written x-invoices.
Benedikt Voigt
We have (for now) decided against offering x-invoices.
Background: At the end of 2020, we looked at the standard of x-invoices. Unfortunately, this is defined in a very complicated way and, above all, in an outdated form of documentation.
At the same time, there are other programs (especially financial accounting programs such as Datev) that offer this and are usually already used in clients' offices or their tax advisors.
That is why we decided against it (for now) and have also included this notice as a slide at the PROJO presentation for new customers so that no one comes to Projo with false expectations.
We could of course buy a freelancer to work on it for a few months. PROJO customers who need x invoices would then have to be prepared to pay a higher license. But I'm more likely to see this in 2022 or later.
